Paper core

Paper cores are long paper pipes made out of gluing layers of papers one above the other. Selecting the right grammage (gram per square meter – GSM) of paper sheets, cut into required width, a master operator attains the desired thickness, diameter, weight and inner/outer surface finish of these paper cores. Cores come in various strengths and sizes, depending upon whether they are going to be used as a core for paper towels, chart rolls, cable reels, industrial tapes, carpets and what not. There could be as many uses of cores as there may be industries around because each one has different needs and the dimensions vary with a core’s relation to the product it is made for. Few more technical terms for paper cores are industrial tubes, spiral wound paper cores and fiberboard cores. As we mentioned that cores are manufactured as per the specifications that the product demands, major uses of these core are packaging and spinning.
